It is really a very busy season when many men come here to FSU in a hope to meet a Soulmate. We meet one or two foreign visitors a day at least in each our local office here, talk to them, try to help as best as we can. As I do this business for 5 years, I have seen lots of successful stories as well as sad failures. Let me, please, share with you my experience and I hope it will help you.
So, there are two ways to meet a woman in FSU in general:
1. Just come here and arrange as many meetings with women as you can. A very popular opinion: "One personal meeting worth of 1000 letters".
2. Start preparations for a trip 2 - 3 months before you go: look through catalogs, contact 20-50 ladies and come to the FSU to meet 3 - 8 of them in person.
I respect both views, but my experience tells that percentage of success of the Way #2 is much higher than of the Way #1. I asked myself: WHY? Where is the reason?? I talked to my girls, talked to men, analyzed men/women emotions after both kinds of personal meetings (prepared with the letters exchange and unprepared).
I see my girls every day coming to our office to pick up mail, bringing their replies for translation/forwarding. I can see that the interest in a man grows up very slowly, from one letter to another. A woman's psychology is different than the man's one. We have a saying here: "Man loves with his eyes, but a woman loves with her ears". It describes very sharply the sense of what I would like to explain: for a man it is sometimes enough just to see a woman, he accepts her through his eyes and he is ready to admit that he is ATTRACTED! So, for a man it is really better just to come and to see! On the other hand there are TWO persons in the play named LOVE: He and She. Her feeling count as well! BUT just a WOMAN's lack of interest breaks a hope to start relationship! WHY??? The point is that she "... love with her ears"... I.e. it works differently for a woman! To ACCEPT a man, to let him come into her heart, to make her eyes sparkling and full of interest she has to be READY for such personal meeting. How can she get ready for it? Yes, only through her ears! Being romantic in the heart and dreaming about true love she wants passionately to HEAR words of love or at least words of interest, even a simple compliments about how is she pretty, intelligent and how much a YOU want to see her tete-a-tete, to look into her eyes, to take her hand and to kiss her... You can tell al this in your letters (I don't mean in the first one, but after a month or two after you start communication!). Guess what a woman will do :)?? She will read and re-read your letters, she will look at your photo and... DREAM. She'll dream about you, about your first meeting, about looking at your eyes and all this is what I mean when I say that "She has to get ready" for the meeting.
When you meet a lady that you never talked to I bet she will be indifferent completely and there is a very little chance to make her interested in you without a language unless you are Leonardo D. Caprio :))! It is especially true for those of you who wants a much younger lady... Sorry to tell this, but it is so...
A first personal meeting that is desirable for two people ends with successful continuation much more often. Such desire can arise during your close communication before you meet in person.
I know men who arrived to see only one lady and the meetings finished with a weddings. I had a client who met 25 girls a day (YES! All meetings were scheduled in cafe, 30 min for each, like an interview) and this man returned to the US without any luck! Please, agree that it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand anything when you meet a person so shortly! Same for women...
So, dear men, make your personal decision which way you like better :))!! Maybe it will be something in the middle :))
